#40Acts was created by Stewardship in the 00s, It was a generosity challenge for Lent that became a worldwide movement of over 100,000 people. All on a mission to impact their local communities by creating moments of radical generosity. So, Instead of giving something up for lent, it was all about giving something back…

Now, more than ever I feel this challenge is needed. However, sadly Stewardship published the final set of resources over five years ago now! For me, I’m lucky enough to work in a role that does some good for the greater community, but still, I work, come home, gym and bed.

I’ve forgotten what this challenge taught me. I may not be a Christian, but I like what this was about and this lent I'm reawakening the challenge, For the next 40 days (from the 14th February till the 28th March 2024) I’m going to give something back to my local community.

Join me on a generosity journey — every generous act matters. Every moment of generosity moves a community forward, whether it’s an inch or a mile.

Over the next 40 days I am pledging to take the the plunge and will dedicate 40 days to generosity, no backing down, even when it gets tiring. If your interested in joining me too you can find the recourses in the Archive folders of Stewardship. Remember Sundays will be the the day of rest!

I’m going to be redoing the 2014 challenge with some elements of the 2019 and adding my own unique quirk…
